"The truth is this collection was never supposed to happen. I never planned on putting out collections that followed a traditional retail calendar. I made whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Our president Melissa Hopkes, former Bergdorf's buyer turned Macys VP, encouraged me and our team, after an exhausting Collection V show and campaign, to come together for one last push to end the year strong."
"The shoot itself came together like a perfect storm. The model we had cast to play the role of an Upper East Side holiday princess cancelled last minute. Everything happens for a reason, we realized no one could fill the role of Charlotte York meets Blair Waldorf better than Park Ave's own, Isabel Timerman."
"The night before the holiday campaign shoot, after organizing our fabric inventory, I found rolls of our best selling fairy dress fabric. It was 6pm and everyone had left the office [but] Melissa challenged me to use the fabric to create a new best selling dress. I stayed until midnight draping the Starlite dress; the next morning it was stitched together off the mannequin and delivered to set where Anafer Flores and I shot it."
"This year has been a complete surrender of my ego, while simultaneously learning to follow my intuition. As we approach our 5 year anniversary in Fall 2024, l'm afraid I can no longer call Mirror Palais a new business. We are very much here and I see our presence and influence continue to grow. I hope I can continue to bring beauty and inspiration to you as you have for me."
